Description

My first 3D post. A quick experiment in SketchUp and getting decent screen grabs from it. There will be much much more to come. I would offer a download of the .skp file, but dA wont let me do that for free. Its available in the warehouse in SketchUp, go find it there if you want.

Pretty nice design. I like the fuse, especially. 

However, there are three things I think could be changed. One, you should make the numbers a bit more high-visibility, for stressful situations. Perhaps white, or glow-in-the-dark for low visibility operations. The other thing is the rivets/screws around the fuse. There is really no need to have so many tiny screws/rivets. I recommend changing them to the same size as the rivet/screw right next to the spoon, and reducing the count to 4 at the cardinal directions.

The last thing is more of a personal design choice, but lots, if not all, grenades have a safety feature to prevent accidental arming. The M67 (the fragmentation grenade fielded by the US military) has a small metal clip around the spoon that must be thumbed to arm the grenade.
